How to “Bump” a calf

“Bumping a Calf” is just what it says – Using a soft fist to nudge the side of a cow’s belly to feel for the shape of a calf inside her around 7-9 months into the gestation.

You can also use a soft rocking motion to see if the calf will “bump” back into your hand.
